Although many thought he would retire after that fight, Conlan has decided to continue his career and will face Jordan Gill (27-2-1, 8 KOs) in a 12-round bout.
The 32-year-old Conlan is at a point where he cannot afford another big loss, as his profile has taken a hit in the last few years. Can Conlan get back to his winning ways on Saturday night, and if so, will he be able to fight his way back to another title shot? All of those questions will look to be answered live on DAZN.
Gill has not fought in thirteen months, and last time out, he was stopped by Kiko Martinez in four rounds. Gill doesn’t appear to be a major threat in stopping Conlan, but you just never know in boxing. Can Gill shock the world and beat Conlan, potentially sending him into retirement?
